Thank you for your generosity in wanting to serve and give of your time and talent in our Mission Network programs. In order to begin serving or to attend an overnight activity with youth, you will to need to acquire a Volunteer Certificate by completing the certification steps outlined below. The certificate, when issued, will be good for the duration of 3 years, and you simply need to present a copy to your local program, retreat director, mission director or camp director. Even if you have a valid certificate from your local diocese, RC Activities requires that you complete this process that is mandated by our insurance carrier. The certification process takes typically 2-3 weeks for processing, so please ensure that you register early prior to your participation in a program, mission trip, retreat or camp. VOLUNTEER CERTIFICATION PROCESS STEPS (USA residents only)

Once completed, your background authorization form must be signed and immediately uploaded into your application, or you may mail, email, or fax it to the national office at:

3. Complete the online registration forms below and submit payment for the background check processing. ($20 for all states except NY and NJ - these states charge more)
4. Contact your local diocesan Child and Youth Protection office and complete the local diocesan safe environment training as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not be able to begin the certification process until we receive the signed Authorization for Background Check document as well as the $20 processing fee.
