Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same convention as in years past? If so, why do I need to attend?
The 2008 Youth Formators Convention is a fresh, new way of transmitting the priority objectives for all youth apostolates. There will be tracks for beginner and advanced Challenge (ECYD), Young Women's RC, YTM, K4J, Lay Spiritual Guides, and Pure Fashion. As well, it's not just about the tracks, it's about building our family spirit, growing in our understanding of Regnum Christi, meeting with our major directors, meeting the national directors of the apostolates represented! It's a dynamic, Christ-filled package you won't want to miss!

Can we bring children?
Mothers are welcome to bring their nursing infants. Please indicate any special needs on your registration so we can make the appropriate accommodations.

Can I fly into Detroit instead of Flint, MI?
You are welcome to do what works best for you, but you will need to provide your own transportation to/from the retreat center if you fly into Detroit. If you fly into Flint, MI we will provide shuttle service to/from the retreat center.

Is the ground transportation included in the fee?
We will arrange for transportation to/from Bishop International Airport in Flint, MI but you will need to pay for the service. You will be able to indicate your need for transportation on the registration page.

What happens if I need to arrive late or depart early?
We strongly encourage everyone to attend the convention in its entirety. You will have to seek special permission to arrive late or leave early. You may submit this request to the ECYD assistant in your area. As well, you will need to provide your own transportation.
